The Sala delle Volte is vast subterranean space, on level with the ancient Roman floor, and part of the Palazzo dei Priori.
It takes its name from the rugged arches made in Assisi stone that make it particularly attractive.
ELECTRIC AND LIGHTING SYSTEM
3kW of available electrical power. Formed by 27 lamps of 150w each, 13 universal sockets, 4 emergency lights.
The electric system is compliant with the applicable regulations.

FIRE ALARM SYSTEM
The entire space is equipped with portable powder fire extinguishers.
The same are placed in easily visible and easily accessible places with pictograms of easy identification.
The room is close to the fire-fighting station, manned 24/7. Furthermore, Piazza del Comune has closed circuit cameras connected directly with the above-mentioned station.
FEATURES AND LOCATION
The Sala delle Volte is located in the basement of the Palazzo dei Priori in Piazza del Comune. The building is made of stone and brick masonry; the inner walls are made of exposed stone- and brickwork, only partly plastered in white. The attics are vaulted with supporting arches of exposed stone- and brickwork; the floor of the room is in terracotta tiles. The front door is made of wood.
